Perhaps I could begin by acknowledging that, just like music, we human beings
are little walking masses of rhythms, frequencies, and various degrees of
harmony and outer dischords - closely connected to our reasoning mind, and
the impact of unresolved issues of our journey to date.
I could also share that my approach of expression, using music as a
catalyst in the support of others, does not come from my ability as a musician,
but from the wisdoms that are my blessing to share, not as a 'healer', but as a
Music Shaman. Let me, for the sake of space, encapsulate an understanding
that has taken thirty years to arrive at: the great blessing Music has to offer is
the opportunity for people to be in the now.
Music in the right respectful, non-judgmental, sacredly nurturing, and
supportive environment, can powerfully facilitate and support the Inner
Journey of each individual participant - the only journey that is real - and that
in that environment of adventure and inner discovery, people move
the 'mountains' of the past, that are subtly controlling their every waking
decision.
When aligned with creative self-expression, both written and drawn, and
free form dance, then real healing - which is simply the movement of energy -
can take place in an appropriate way and level to each individual's journey.

CRYSTAL OF THE MONTH
We have two this month...
APOPHYLLITE – Powerful vibrational transmitter. Brings truth and corrects imbalances.
Releases mental blocks and negative thought patterns. Place one under the centre of your healing table
with either blue or yellow calcite on top. Then place 6 clear quartz points or raw amethyst around the

Here’s a Bioptron Light story:
A young boy of 4 came to my stand in a mall in Tauranga. He was covered in dry scaly eczema from head to foot.
He had not slept through the night for many months and consequently neither had his mother who was stressed,
drawn and exhausted. She had tried “everything” to no avail. She was desperate to get it sorted as he was due
to start school and she wanted him to have the opportunity to learn and make friends. He would only allow me
to use green light, so I gave him 2 minutes on his liver.
That evening his Mum brought him back at my suggestion so we could try to get him to sleep through the night.
We gave him a 4 minute stress relief and spot treated some of the worst areas of his body. He slept through the
night!!!
Next morning the Mum came in and bought a Bioptron Light and colour set and continued to treat him for stress
which is a factor in all skin conditions and spot treat the worst patches. He spent time in hospital
the following week and Mum continued to treat him with the light, much to the doctors disdain.
However on the last day an Irish doctor came in and told her to
continue to use the light as that is what they do in Europe all the time.
In Europe Bioptron Light is a
registered medical device and used by all the doctors who have a year of training in Natural Therapies ,
including light and colour therapy. Two and a half weeks later Mum brought the child to see me again. He was
85% clear of eczema. Four months later when I saw him, his skin was completely clear. It was soft and silky
and Mum couldn’t stop stroking him!!! The difference in her was amazing too – calm, relaxed and happy, knowing
that whatever health issues came up in the future, she could deal with them immediately with her light.
Bioptron Light and colour therapy works at a cellular level to repair damage. It not only works on skin conditions,
but also rheumatism, arthritis, sports injuries and wound healing. There are programmes to boost the immune system,
detoxify the body and deal with stress and many others.

Heirlooms or Mutants
With spring coming up we start paying more attention to seeds. We have to go to selected niches to find the heirloom.
They are still around though – and they will be as long as there are people protecting them.
But who protects the people?
We manipulate nature to suit our needs, - like a certain colour rose – or a blight resistant tomato.
We manipulate ourselves as well, by accepting synthetics in every thing. We eat synthetics, we drink it,
we clean ourselves in it. Look around – it is every where. We have no idea what we are playing with. But we have choice.
We can each choose for ourselves and for our children and their children. Will we pass on a plastic body that is bound
to mutate to survive – or will we care for our natural heritage and treat our bodies with respect.
The Mutant world is known as a serious world where we take responsibility over our liver, manage our cholesterol and
try to be updated on every new chemical being marketed. The Heirloom world is fun. We play, we laugh, we eat real food,
and we try to learn from every natural being. We don’t get certificates, we get inner power.

Welcome to our July 2010 edition...
WHAT'S HAPPENING...
Welcome! This month we found two special ladies able to help us with our cats. Did you know that talking
to animals is the same as talking to any other spirit? I guess it makes sense. I had never thought of it before.
We were having trouble with our cats so I emailed Jeanne from energyworks.org.nz. Between Jeanne and Niki, our cats
are now a lot happier. Blu is on some flower essence drops daily and I am trying to give both of them positive praise
instead of growling them for what they do wrong and it is making a real difference. Cats are much like kids.
They thrive on love and affection.

Your Aura changes regularly. It is good to have a photo taken once every 6 months to see how much you have
changed. Your Aura holds the energy around you. Auras that expand out indicate spiritual expasion, expressiveness,
extroversion, social activity and desire for connection, gregariousness and positive outlock, sense of adventure.
Aura's closer in indicate inward focus, sensitivity and desire for solitude, meditation, peace, transquility or rest.

When you think about the reason that people become attached to the things of this world, you will understand
it is because they can see this world and they think it is real. They become attached to the physical body
because they can see it. Seeing members of the opposite sex may lead to attachments, and the same can be said
about food. However, when people are attached to things, there can be no peace of mind. Only when they are rid
of their attachments can they enjoy serenity within, which gives rise to a sense of true happiness.
Shakyamuni was fully aware of this truth, so he taught the idea ‘matter is void’.

WHAT'S NEW - We now stock "Soap Nuts"
After going through months of frustration, we have found ourselves now using a natural
washing powder. James and Trevor had developed a rash and we found it was due to the company we were buying our washing powder from, changing their receipe. Soap nuts are very affordable. A 1kg bag of soap nuts will do up
to 365 loads of washing. I love the soap nut powder and natural bleach. NO CHEMICALS!!!

Good evening,
Welcome to this months edition of Spiritual Gardens Newsletter
Last month we had great fun at our April Fools Fair. Even the stall holders were clowning around.

This year we will be bringing you more fairs out and around.
We are aiming to run our normal one day fairs at Glenview, Hamilton
and a two day fair each month also.

We have a good selection of readers, healers and crafts. Local, Jan will be in the kitchen cooking up treats,

Autumn Equinox The change of seasons can bring colds and flu, so break out the vitamin C, Echinacea, garlic, eucalyptus and other essential oils.
Traditionally the autumn equinox celebrates the final Harvest with dancing and sharing. Food is abundant and crops put away for winter. As the light hours lesson we withdrawal into ourselves and do internal work. We are drawn to craft work and communicate with our families.
Leaves fall and the bones of the trees are exposed. Winds clear away the excess of summer and its a good time to clear the mind of clutter. Our meditation circle will clear your soul aspects in preparation of a winter of clarity and crisp cold.

The Principle of Self-Reflection
Once something has been done and has become a fact in this world, or has become
a physical reality, it may be impossible to undo. However, what concerns the mind,
or what happens in the mind can be undone because the inner world encompasses past,
present and future. If it were impossible to undo mistakes, there would be no point
in practicing self-reflection. If you break a vase, for example, there is no way
you can make the vase whole once more, no matter how deeply you regret it.
However, if you regret having done something wrong, if you reflect deeply on the
deed in your mind, this sin will be wiped from your past.

Spiritual Gardens March Monthly Newsletter
Welcome. Well what a time. Doesn't life sometimes feel like a roller coaster. We wonder whether it is just happening to us or if everyone is going through similar. Why not ask? When I talk to like minded souls I find I am not the only one going through this. Last week I felt terriable til Friday and then I felt on top of the world. Why? I thought it was just me. then yesterday I bumped into a friend who had the same thing happen to her. The thing to remember is YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
The energies are forever changing. I often ponder over such things and patience is often needed. We all want to enjoy life and for the good of all and it is not easy to understand what is going on and why. That is why there a many good people around us who can help and share in the knowledge. Sometimes we have to lean on the wise ones or go to them for advice or support. Go to a spiritual group or gathering. Sit and listen if you so wish. Speak out if you want to share and grow. If you are going through it, then someone else is also.
The laws of happiness - How to win against fate
If you think your life is cursed, or that your fate is so bad that you want to avoid it, there is only one way out. You need to gain a firm understanding of the tendencies of your soul. If you achieve this, you will be able to foresee your future and once you know what fate has in store for you, you will understand what you need to do to overcome it. Because you will know what is going to happen to you, you will be able to avoid it.
It is important to avoid dangers and develop the abilities you lack. Nurture future strengths that lie in your shortcomings, and discover the seeds of failure lurking within your apparent strengths. Celebrating the loving heart for 2010
We began the year with saturated love at the Glenview Hall (our Monthly Fair). We had new stallholders as well as our regulars. Everyone participated by decorating their spaces with hearts and dressed creatively in bright red passionate colours. Elizabeth even found a blouse sprinkled with hearts! Strings of hearts adorned the trees and we had heart cushions, heart cards and even heart shaped shortbread.
We had the Tauranga Holistic Centre join us with their exsquisite magic wands. Willie and Marius from Golden Bay held an impromptu concert outside with their healing Gongs and singing bowls. Followed by the Great Healing Gong Concert in the evening. I cant wait til the next one. It was fantastic! I felt like I was part of the Earth. An amazing healing.
There was an outdoor cafe selling "Wheel Cakes". Delicious round morsels, Hot, filled with yummy tastes from sweet to savory.
KIDS Competition Results. This was very hard to judge. All the hearts were wonderful and showed skill. We choose 5 winners. Winners were... Alyssa, Luke, Nakita, Joon and Rosa. Well done!!! You will find the photos on FACEBOOK soon :-) Watch this space!
Heart Health
Deepak Chopra in his book "Healing the Heart" explains that the Corona above the heart, is in fact a feeling brain and gentle relasing of feelings has a powerful effect on the Cardiac Health. Meditation reduces stress, blood pressure and even cholestrol! A study in Israel shaved a 3.0pt drop after a short time. Other studies claim to have reduced the crime rate in Washington by 25% several times and that sending love to the criminally insane changed the relating and work conditions so much that people WANTED to work there. The power of love eh!
Chopra states that rekindling feelings of peace, joy, apprectation and love, stablizes the herat's electromagnetic field. Affection has enormous healing power promoting healthy circulation and feel good hormones. A hert properly stops the yadder yadder in the head and promotes creativity and personal confidence.
Opening circle meditation and healing
In the opening circle meditation and healing (10am), Ananamu, healer lead a meditation to release feelings and clear the aura. They then gazed at beautiful rich red dalhias as you would a mandala. Ana explained there are many ways to meditate - music, art & Craft, dancing, spinning, walking in nature - even zoning out in the bath or singing in the shower. This is one of the free classes at 10 o'clock and varies each time. It was followed by myself (11 o'clock) talking about the healing properties of Rose Quartz.
Next fair theme, meditations and classes will be coinciding with Herb Week and we will have information on healing herbs, aroma therapy and making your own incense and flower essences. (Checkout our flyer at the end of the month for further details.)
The workshop 'Healing the Heart" followed all the guidelines for heart health in Deepak Chopras book but it was with a great deal of fun and involvement. Pictures done in teh first 20 minutes showed how different people are.

Mabel who made exsquisite heart cushions for Valentines Day found it difficult to obtain rich red materials. If you have any offcuts or recycleable dresses, lace, beads and nicknacks she can sew, shw really would appreciate it. Her heart cushions make a great gift for lovers at anytime. I received one from my husband for our 1st wedding Anniversay :-)
Magenta Phone Line We have created a 'Virtual Fair' where you can get readings, healings and counsellings where ever you are. You make an appointment (paid by credit card) by phoning our office. Michelle finds a reader promptly or at a suitable time and then has the designated guide or healer phone you. It is not 24/7 and doesn't extend to mobiles but it has the advantage of being able to relate, discuss, ask questions without the clock ticking. Spiritual Readings - dangerous or benigh?
The answer to the question lies with you. "You live and learn or you don't live long!" The choice is to tell the difference between readers that are helpful or dangerous.
In the early days churches warned against fortune telling because charlatans pedalled fake messages as real. Many people play the game of telling you what you want ot hear for money or votes!
People lie or sell their own opinions and trite quotes to take advantage of your indecision and difficult situations. Beware. Some psychic souls or souls trapped in illusion and their advice feeds self importance and glamorized fantasies. Their advice contains words like 'have to', 'should do' and 'must'.
A good intuitive reader will not tell you what to do. They expose a larger view of a troublesome situation and indicate options you many not have considered.
Those that use readings for self development learn the deeper message behind life experiences so the lesson may be learned. You may be guided to act in a mature healthy manner so that healing occurs.
Their suggestions come from a wide and varied life. Universal wisdoms given, are relative to your situation now.

We wish you all Summer Solstice Greetings and Special
Family Celebrations at Xmas and the New Year.

Season’s Greetings
The last fair for the year was absolutely beautiful.
Crystals, quality healers and readers made a special effort
to provide a loving clear environment.
We welcomed several new people bringing wooden bowls, flowers, embroidery, plants
and knick nacs. Two artists exhibited affordable art. “Simply Be” came with their
specialties in reflexology, massage and meditations.
The End of Year Celebration Pot Luck Dinner went extremely well. Over 20 stall holders
attended and we feasted on imaginative salads, chicken kebabs with baked wholemeal
and garlic breads. Yum!
Since many of you have become friends over the year we are thinking of including
everyone next year. Would you like to come?
The Abundance workshops with Ananamu certainly cleared out our attitudes
so we could allow the abundance to flow. We shared creative ideas for lean times.
Ana read a story that illustrated many worthwhile habits of abundance (From Taran Wanderer)
In short, they were…
* Make clean clear space for what you want. * Put your “baskets” out everywhere; all sizes. * Make much from little.
Appreciate what you have, marvel at the ordinary…
* Fret over tomorrow and there’ll be no joy today.
* Sharpen your eyes to see your luck. * Sharpen your wits to use what comes.

Firstly, last month I incorrectly said that Gemini's colour was silver. It should have read Cancer.
Ok! IF you are a Virgo (24 Aug - 22 Sept) your colour is Brown. This strengthens your attention to detail.
This months colour is Orange. Orange is the colour of fertility, health and joy.
This could mean wearing orange to bring a project to fruition. It will also help with personal happiness.

Welcome to our July 2009 edition...
Saying of the month… “If you love something set it free, if it comes back it is yours. If it does not, it never was.”
Together we raised $26.80 for the SPCA at the last one day show! Thank you to those who donated money towards SPCA from the back issues of the “Rainbow News” and “Healthy Options”. We raised $26.80. Thanks also to the Rainbow news and Healthy Options for the magazines. We will have more at our next fair. Also the Free Soul Cuisine magazine. Huntly donations still to be counted as life with a new born baby has been rather busy. Not to mention that he arrived on the day of the fair. We will also have a BBQ for the SPCA this Saturday to raise money for the animals.
Colour Magic : Red – Magical in many traditions. Red represents blood or the essence of life. Red in magic means the colour of power, physical energy and determination. Wear red for courage and to help with difficult situations.
Cancer’s – Your colour is silver for hidden potential. Leo your colour is gold for ambition.
Natural Earth and Holistic Fairs: Hamilton - One day fair - 1st August 9am til 4pm Hamilton, Glenview Community Hall, Tomin Rd. $2 entry or $5.00 family. The band ‘Ricchary’ is expected with live music to entertain you!!!

I found it when I was looking through google. Relates oils with your chakras for emotional balancing. Sounds like a plan. I wouldn’t mind trying a mix in a nice hot bath on a cold winters night or in the oil burner to take the focus off the cold, while watching TV in your lounge in front of the fire/heater.

Natural Earth and Holistic Fairs
This is part of spiritual Gardens ltd a local Hamilton business Trevor and Michelle have setup to enhance their and others lives in a good and more natural way.
We are very happy to be coming back to Huntly this weekend and we have made Huntly part of our 12 monthly tour around the country.
You will find a lot of variety at our show this year ranging from the usual Readers and Healers through to organic food and supplies. Also introducing workshops through the day on various subjects.
Our stall holders are also from a variety of places too, not just local Huntly people but Ngaruawahia, Hamilton, Thames, Tauranga, Rotorua, Te Kuiti, Taumaranui, New Plymouth and Auckland.
The Local people we are happy to have with us are Karen Hennessy, Lynne Brown & her daughter Melissa and Richard McBride.
Karen has a wonderful selection of Lotus crèmes and craft made items
Lynne is a wonderfully gifted artist along with her daughter Melissa and they have a fantastic selection of painted art from both of them. Melissa also has pre loved clothing and some footwear available on offer.
Richard is the newest member of our team this year and we are happy to support him in his ventures. He has decided to move into his healing more and more. I have first-hand experience of Richard and am happy to vouch for his abilities.
Along with these people we have Karma with her gifted poetry, Lomah with Soy Melts, Anne with Herbal Supplements and Ear Candling, Jasmine with her new clothing, Cyril with Healings and Books, Crystals e.t.c, Nicky and her Flower Essences and Bowen Treatments, Rachael with Chi Kung Massage. These are all local people, also we have those who have travelled to be with us here.
Magic Hands Murray with his Massage, Maggie who does Reiki, Andrea for Astrology, Colleen for Psychometry readings, Karina who reads and draws through spirit, Deborah who uses Doreen Virtue cards for readings, Anne for Clairvoyant readings, Mary & Trevor for your Native American powered readings, Val for beautiful Girls handmade clothing, Karen for craft bits and food from the kitchen, Annie with a mix of books, cards and lots of other pieces, Suresh and Keshne with incense and Organic foods, Anthony for past life connections, Peace for card readings or if you are lucky maybe a Indian head massage.
Last but not least Trudi with Tui plaster Art come and paint to your heart’s content and Michelle and Ananamu with Top quality silver jewelry, raw and tumbled Crystals, Dream-Catchers, Natural soaps and crèmes and beautiful combined pendants and earrings and bracelets e.t.c.
